More Trouble for Blackwater
Former Blackwater Worldwide president Gary Jackson, and four colleagues, have been charged with filing false statements in connection with the purchase of five guns gifted to the King of Jordan. Allegedly, four federal documents were falsified to disguise the purchase, and the gift is alleged to have been an attempt to ingratiate Blackwater for the purpose of obtaining further contracts with Jordan. Blackwater’s current management says no law was broken and the company is cooperating fully with the federal investigation.
